Apple Rhubarb Crumble

Our rhubarb looks like this:

so I figured it was time to harvest our first few rhubarb stalks of the season. I had a few apples sitting around from the SPUD bin so I decided to make an apple-rhubarb crumble.

I used Dinner with Julie’s Big-Crumb Crumble recipe to make the topping, and sprinkled a little bit of cinnamon, sugar and arrowroot powder on the fruit before topping it.

It was pretty delicious and it was very nice to eat something out of own garden!
