Fridays

I am really going to miss having Fridays off when I have to start working for the summer. Three day weekends, even when you have to do school work, aren’t bad at all. It makes marathon training much easier when you have the whole day off to run, then a Saturday for recovery running and still have a Sunday to rest. I can be completely exhausted after 12 miles today and have two days of sleeping in to make up for it.

To make my Friday even better we had pizza and caramel corn for dinner/dessert. I try to eat healthy but I love a good treat now and again. I do have to watch my eating because marathon training is notorious for weight gain, but a little sweet once in a while won’t hurt 🙂
