Despite the -30C (or more) windchills we’ve been having, the first few days of March were not as completely horrible as I was expecting. A cancelled class on Tuesday afternoon meant that I could do my 7 miles in daylight so even though it was freezing outside it at least looked warm. I had to wear an extra 7lbs of clothing on top of my regular running gear and I felt heavy and slow but we got it done. Wednesday was 4 more miles (and weights) and I feel like I’m finally getting back on track with my running. There are starting to be more highlighted days on the training calendar!
