We’ve been trying to take advantage of the fall weather over the past week – a couple of nice dog walks to the Bearspaw Dam rewarded us with views of the yellow and red trees along the river, and the chance to walk on paths with the rustling leaves under our feet. Patches is also taking advantage of the fall weather – the mice are out and about and he a hunting machine.
And we’re having a perfect Ontario fall here in Alberta – crisp nights, warm days and fantastic leaves. Its strange – usually the wind has blown everything from the trees by this point. But we’ll enjoy what we’ve got, it will turn to winter before we know it. Soon we’ll be cursing the trees as we rake up our yard and then cursing the snow as we shovel.
